There are three main categories, or villages, that comprise the 240 rooms at the Tamarindo Diria – Sunset Village, Tropicana Village, and Lagoon Village. Every room within these three villages is furnished with A/C, cable TV, minibar, coffee maker, safe, hair dryer, free international calls, and free Wi-Fi. The Sunset Village sits directly on the beach and consists of the Sunset Oceanview Rooms and the Standard Rooms. The Sunset Ocean View Rooms are quite possibly the best ocean views in all Tamarindo as your mere footsteps from the water. Both the Sunset Oceanview Rooms and Standard Rooms come with two queens or one king. The Tropicana Village is located across the street from the Sunset Village and is an adult-only portion of the resort. These Tropicana Rooms offer pool views and come with one king bed. Also located across the street from the Sunset Village is the Lagoon Village, where each rooms offers two queen beds and pool views.

In addition to the beach front location, the Tamarindo Diria offers an expansive set of amenities. There are four pools on the property, including one kids pool, an adults-only pool (located in Tropicana Village), and the largest pool in Tamarindo. There are also six restaurants, five bars, casino, fitness center, tennis court, and cold whirlpool. If you’re looking to golf while vacationing, located 15 minutes north on Reserva Conchal is the 20^th ranked Garra de Leon golf course while the 18-hole Hacienda Pinilla golf course is located just 15 minutes south.
