1. Day 1

   Fly into the BZE Airport where you will pass Immigrations and Customs and then check into your domestic Tropic Air flight. After a quick 25-minute flight you’ll arrive at the popular Ambergris Caye, the Isla Bonita.  A representative from the El Pescador Lodge will meet you there, take your luggage and then escort you to their waiting boat for a ten minute ride to the lodge. You’ll be greeted on the dock with a welcome drink and smiles and your mind will instantly switch to vacation mode.  El Pescador is one of the world’s foremost fly fishing lodges, boasting 40 years in the business, countless grandslams, and some of the best fly fishing guides in the country. Enjoy all inclusive accommodations, complimentary use of kayaks & bicycles, and free casting instructions each evening.

2. Day 2

   Wake up early and get ready to fish! After breakfast you’ll meet your guide and discuss what you’d like to fish for and take a look at the conditions, then you’ll head out when you are ready.  El Pescador features a 400 sq mile fishery so opportunities for bonefish, permit, and tarpon are endless.

3. Day 3

   Enjoy another full day of fishing!  If you landed bonefish and perfected your cast yesterday then today step it up a notch and target the ever-elusive permit or the mighty silver king – tarpon.

4. Day 4

   Last day in Belize!  Use this day to head out fishing one last time or if you’ve already caught your fill you can spend the day snorkeling or diving at the Hol Chan Marine Park just minutes from the dock at El Pescador.

5. Day 5

   Today you’ll wake up to the Caribbean sunrise in Belize and watch the sun set over the Pacific in Guatemala.  After a quick flight back to the BZE International Airport you’ll then fly to GUA International where you will be met by the Casa Vieja Lodge representative.  They’ll escort you in an air conditioned van 90-minutes to their world famous lodge located in Puerto San Jose.  Featuring just 19 air conditioned rooms, the Casa Vieja Lodge is one of the world’s finest all inclusive fishing lodges and is home to some of the best boats and captains in Central America.

6. Day 6

   Get up early, eat breakfast, and then head down to the marina for a full day of billfishing.  The fleet of nine boats at CVL is the envy of many fishing operations around the world as they raise and release an incredible amount of sailfish day after day, year after year.  The average release count per boat, per day is 15 – not sure anywhere else on Earth comes close to that! Depending on your group size you can choose between 35’ center consoles or 40’ yachts with air conditioned salons.

7. Day 7

   Last day of fishing!  Enjoy another full day of sport fishing in Guatemala as you chase sailfish, marlin, dorado, and yellowfin tuna.  Guatemala is one of the few places where fly fishing anglers will have regular shots at billfish, so if you have the urge to catch a sailfish on the fly this is the place to do it

8. Day 8

   Enjoy a scenic 90-minute drive back to the GUA International Airport for your flight home.
